While in most people’s mind the term “Office Bearers” may indicate the Generals or the people that sit and make the orders. For a sporting club, it actually means “the workers” those people who are going to get down and dirty and make things happen. If you are incorporated there are minimum requirements for office bearers. If you aren’t, then it is most advisable you have them anyway.

• President / Chair.

• Secretary.

• Treasurer.

There are other positions that QCSA require as well. Whether these are the same people as those positions above are up to you. If they are different people, you will also need to decide whether any of them will be members of the Executive, or Committee or neither.

• Registrar.

• Results Officer.

• Coaches (you will need at least 1 for each team).

• Managers (you will need at least 1 for each team).

There are also a number of other positions that you may want to consider as well.

• Equipment Officer.

• Public Relations Officer.

• Sponsorship Coordinator.

• Ground Official.

• Grounds Manager.

• Canteen Convener.

• First Aid Attendant.

• QCSA Representative.

• Zone Representative.

• Discipline Representative.

• SCM Councilor.
