FFA Rule Changes

QCSA Will NOT Follow Recent
FFA Rule Changes

To all of our players and those wishing to join QCSA, we WILL NOT be following the lead of FFA in downgrading the field size and players numbers for U6 to U12 in junior age groups (known as SSG or Small Sided Games). For the foreseeable future our Under 7's and Under 8's will continue to play a modified brand of soccer with six players on each side, one of which will be a goalkeeper. Three interchange will also be allowed and there will be no limit on the amount of goals allowed to be scored per player. We will not be keeping any official match results and the focus will be on learning the game rather than winning or losing. All teams at Under 9's and above will play on a FULL SIZE FIELD with a full complement of eleven players a side (including a goalkeeper) and up to 4 interchange players as well. This includes results being recorded and final series being played. (Except of course, Seven A Side).

Good Luck for the coming season to all QCSA Clubs, Teams & Players.

Peter Allen - Fixture Officer.
